Big Bang of Information

(From the GHCA newsletter)

Cosmological Big Bang: the common scientific hypothesis of the origin of the universe.  Last month, Robert Brayton brought us an alternative explanation of the origin of the universe anchored in Genesis 1. There are a number of serious conundrums in the cosmological Big Bang theory that have never been resolved.

The ten billion dollar James Web Space Telescope was designed to solve some of these problems, but in fact it has added deeper challenges to the cosmological big bang theory. For example, JWST showed that most of the “oldest” (most red-shifted) objects appear fully formed without the expected intermediate stages. Furthermore, JWST showed the cosmological dark age that the common model requires are not found. Finding insurmountable problems with the common model strengthen our belief that the universe is deliberately designed and very finely tuned to provide an environment for life.

The origin of life is equally inexplicable.

On December 1st, Mr. Brayton will present on the Big Bang of Information. Information is not a physical entity although information is frequently stored in a physical medium. The information stored in the DNA in every biological cell provides the tools for the molecular machinery in each cell to build and operate, and to enable living systems capable of reproduction. Human DNA stores more than three billion bits of information arranged in multiple dimensions. Such high levels of organization in the molecular machinery and the information storage and control systems is the very opposite of random and unguided evolutionary systems commonly taught. In contrast, these vastly complex molecular machines are characteristic of systems designed by a very high level of intelligence.

This strong implication of intelligent design has been recognized for a long time. Further living self-replicating systems built from nonliving chemicals suggests the activity of an intelligence far beyond the human mind and will. The Institute for Creation Research (ICR) has begun a long term research project of a new concept of Continuous Environmental Tracking (CET) that is expected to provide a much better explanation for the development of complex living systems of great variety in a much better way than the commonly taught theory of biological evolution. CET is a fascinating and exciting new development covered in this presentation.

Robert Brayton is an inventor (two U.S. Patents), engineer (Compaq, HP), and professional photographer (CPP, Photographic Craftsman, Professional Photographers of America), volunteer (Insperity Observatory Assistant Director, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador, Civil Air Patrol, ICR Discovery Center), guest speaker (Houston Astronomical Society, North Houston Astronomy Club, Greater Houston Creation Association, Gulf Coast Mensa), and Mensa. He is currently helping astronomers with the Institute for Creation Research and Answers in Genesis to develop a creationist science view of protostar development.

Please plan to join us on December 1st, at 7:00 pm in the Reception Room at Houston’s First Baptist Church, or by Zoom. Invite your friends and church leaders – all who desire to increase their understanding of Biblical creation science are welcome. Questions and time for discussion will be provided at the end of the presentation.
