Information is not a physical entity although information is frequently stored in a physical medium. The information stored in the DNA in every biological cell provides the tools for the molecular machinery in each cell to build and operate, and to enable living systems capable of reproduction. Human DNA stores more than three billion bits of information arranged in multiple dimensions. Such high levels of organization in the molecular machinery and the information storage and control systems is the very opposite of random and unguided evolutionary systems commonly taught. Further living self-replicating systems built from nonliving chemicals suggests the activity of an intelligence far beyond the human mind and will.
